Chapter 796: A Great Victory
Sein kept himself in check, suppressing his greed on the battlefield.
He was not exactly short on resources, so there was no need to compete with his allies over scraps of loot.
As for the energy crystals found inside the metal fort, Sein ultimately took only seven boxes for himself.
Considering the contributions he had made, taking just this amount was more than fair.
“These energy crystals seem to be the power source for these weapons that looked like metal boxes,” Sein mumbled as he examined a half-destroyed weapon dug out from the rubble.
It was clear that it was a product of technological civilization; not something Wild Gorilla World could have produced on a large scale.
This war, Sein reflected, was unlike any he had experienced before.
Even Rank Two mages like himself could sense the changes that set this conflict apart from the rest.
Staying in one place for too long was unwise.
When Green Spikefur King emerged from the fort, carrying a massive lump of metal on its back, Sein directed his companions to other battlefields nearby.
Both the hefty piece of metal and the boxes of energy crystals were stowed in Sein’s space conch.
Ever since he befriended Tourmaline, the dragon turtle had gifted him many treasures.
In hindsight, this space conch had proven to be the most valuable.
Its storage capacity far surpassed that of ordinary spatial storage equipment.

Sein fought actively on the battlefield, frequently demonstrating the unique properties of his Azure Flame.
With its ability to break down metal, more impenetrable forts were brought down by the Magus World Army under his leadership.
During this period, Sein had hoped to find another demigod-level Wild Gorilla.
After all, every part of a creature of this rank held immense value.
Unfortunately, even Rank Three Wild Gorillas were quickly claimed by the numerous high-level powerhouses within the Magus World Army, let alone demigod-level Wild Gorillas.
Thanks to the presence of his two demigod-level protectors, Sein managed to secure a few more Rank Three Wild Gorilla corpses.
However, he found it difficult to muster any interest in the Rank One or Two Wild Gorillas; their value simply was not worth his attention.

The battle at the metal front lasted a total of thirteen days, including its aftermath.
After all, it cost over a hundred thousand magicoins to fire the fortress’ main cannon each time.
After exchanging a few more words with Master Archimedes, Sein continued his flight toward the rear of the Divine Tower of Verdant Spring Army.
For now, this phase of the war was over for Sein.

The battles in the war zones where the Divine Tower of Verdant Spring and the Order of the Fiery Molten Mountain were stationed ended swiftly.
In fact, the battles between the Magus Civilization Army and the Wild Gorilla Army along the extensive fronts of Wild Gorilla World concluded in a similarly rapid fashion.
Most of these conflicts were resolved within a month.
In nearly every case, the Magus World Army emerged victorious.
Despite receiving some support from hidden external forces, this “minimal” assistance was insufficient for the Wild Gorilla Army to withstand the relentless advance of the Magus World Army.
While the Magus World Army did incur some losses, it was evident that the Wild Gorilla Clan paid a far greater price!
By the end of this wave of full-scale conflict, the Wild Gorilla World had lost tens of millions of elite troops.
The casualties among their lower-quality vassal and enslaved legions were even higher, exceeding one hundred million.
The existences of twenty-one Gorilla Gods were permanently erased, with more left severely injured.
The number of fallen Gorilla Gods might not have been as high if not for the unexpected impact of the Dwarf Bombs and the devastating light blue energy beam, which caught even the Magus World’s powerhouses off guard and made them fight more aggressively.
In the war zone where the Divine Tower of Verdant Spring was, none of the three Gorilla Gods were able to retreat.
Allowing them to escape was simply out of the question!
The sight of Black Oblivion falling from the sky was witnessed by many, and allowing the Gorilla Gods responsible for this to escape would put the magic beast kings in an awkward position when White Stella arrived.
Oneille was initially unaware of Black Oblivion’s background.
Upon learning the details from Milena, and confirming them with Lorianne, he immediately took up his massive ax and pursued the Rank Five Gorilla God trying to flee the battlefield.
White Stella was expected to arrive at the Wild Gorilla Battlefield within the next few days, leading numerous Sea Kings.
Sein, meanwhile, had just returned to the space fortress and barely begun his experiments when he was summoned by his mentor.
Lorianne appeared exhausted, having likely just withdrawn from the frontline herself. Even as she spoke, she was catching her breath—clearly, the battle had taken its toll on her.
“Stop your experiments for now and come with me to visit Bernice,” Lorianne instructed.
“What happened to her?” Sein asked.
“She was injured by that blue beam shot by the Wild Gorilla Army not long ago. Your grandmaster knows about it too, but she won’t be able to come here right away, so it’s up to the two of us to visit her on her behalf,” Lorianne explained.
