After lunch, Xu Yun accompanied Song Xiaowei to the mall, where they went shopping and bought several new outfits.

Seeing the procession, the other staff in the main lobby thought some high-ranking leader had come for an inspection.

Once upstairs, Governor Gao said to Jian Shiwai, "Go get the new West Lake Dragon Well tea we just got in this year and brew a cup for President Xu."

"I’m no tea connoisseur, Governor Gao. You shouldn’t waste it on me."

"It doesn’t matter if you don’t know how. Drink enough of it, and you’ll learn naturally."

Governor Gao laughed. "This year’s West Lake Dragon Well is truly exceptional. It’s very hard to find on the market. You simply must try it."

A moment later, Jian Shiwai returned with the tea leaves and an exquisite tea set.

She then began to boil the water and prepare the tea.

First, she scalded the lidded bowl with boiling water, warming and cleansing the ware to raise its temperature. Then, she placed the leaves inside and poured in just enough hot water to rinse them, allowing the leaves to unfurl and release their fragrance.

This was followed by waking the tea, the main infusion, and finally, serving it.

Xu Yun said, "I actually came today to discuss a private matter with Manager Jian."
