Chapter 57 Stable Communication
Chapter 57 Stable Communication
Some things become natural after they happen many times.
For example, I've gotten used to using vector scanning now; before the day ends, I casually scan several private frequency bands. Have there been any new documents sent by Red Spider? Has Shockwave sent another status update, like an experimental log? Are there any new intelligence conclusions from Soundwave?
Then, she would check where Orion and Zenitsu were talking about that day.
Initially, the communication between the two machines was relayed through her.
Orion sent her the publicly available information and access anomalies compiled from Iron Fortress, which she then forwarded to Zhen Tianzun. Zhen Tianzun's replies were usually brief but precise.
This is not a standalone exception.
[Go back two rounds of resource allocation.]
They are at the bottom of the card's circulation port.
A little while later, Orion would usually chime in with:
I'll go and finish the first two rounds.
or.
I understand now, that makes sense.
When Yin Vector first saw the two machines communicating so naturally, he stared at the terminal and remained silent for two seconds before turning his head to look at Zhen Tianzun next to him.
"You two are really getting along well now."
Zhen Tianzun was looking down at the screen, and upon hearing this, he merely glanced at her indifferently: "Is there a problem?"
"No problem." Yin Xiang crossed his arms, a slight smile creeping onto his lips. "I just suddenly feel that I've done a pretty good job as the middleman."
Zhen Tianzun snorted: "Stop trying to glorify yourself."
"How can this be called gilding the lily?" she replied matter-of-factly. "The two of you can now skip over me and talk about things, that's called significant achievement."
Zhen Tianzun looked at her and finally replied, "Alright, you're somewhat useful."
That was already considered very kind of talk, and Yin Vector immediately raised an eyebrow with satisfaction.
Moreover, she could tell that Zhen Tianzun's approval of Orion was genuine. It wasn't because he needed to consider anyone's feelings, but because after talking with him, he knew that Orion's mind wasn't empty and that his judgment was sharp.
When Orion is mentioned, although he still has that lukewarm attitude, he no longer refers to him as "the one from the Iron Fortress."
The same goes for Orion's side.
Sometimes he would hand the organized data to Yin Vector, casually saying, "Take this to Zhen Tianzun and take a look. I think he will have a different opinion."
Sometimes, when discussing the flow of certain resources, it would be natural to mention, "He was right about this before. Overt control is not the key point; the key point is how to sever the connection between urban hubs later."
On one occasion, Vector was processing data on the second floor, with experimental documents sent by Red Spider, public records from Orion, and several intelligence corrections casually tossed over by Soundwave all open on her terminal. The interfaces were a complete mess, and even she felt her brain throbbing just looking at them.
Zhen Tianzun came up from downstairs, glanced at her pile of interfaces, and said, "You really look like a transit station now."
Without even looking up, he said, "What else? If you want to communicate, you can't always be online at the same time."
Zhen Tianzun stood to the side and watched for two seconds, then added calmly, "Orion and I don't need you to spin anymore."
She paused for a moment, looked up at him, and then couldn't help but laugh: "Isn't that even better?"
Her words flowed so smoothly that Zhen Tianzun fell silent for half a second.
Yin Vector leaned back in his chair, shook the data pen in his hand, and spoke in a light and cheerful tone.
"This way you can talk directly, which saves me trouble and you both trouble. It's great."
She said frankly that she not only didn't mind, but was actually quite happy about it.
The machines I know are finally no longer just occupying one side, but can actually come together.
He was glad that Zhen Tianzun had someone on his side who shared his thoughts on certain matters, and he was also glad that Orian didn't always have to get to know another person through her.
Seeing that she was clearly in a good mood, Zhen Tianzun finally gave a muffled hum and said nothing more.
But before turning away, he left behind a sentence.
"Then don't completely absolve yourself of responsibility."
The vector was taken aback: "Who picked them all?"
Zhen Tianzun looked at her and said, "If you hadn't been there to support us, we wouldn't be having such a smooth conversation now."
After listening, Yin Vector blinked through his optical glasses, and then the corners of his mouth slowly turned up slightly.
"Fine," she said. "At least you know how to talk."
-
Later, when I had the chance to interview three times, I received more and more offers.
We don't always have in-depth conversations; sometimes we just follow up on a document, a public statement, or a recent unusual transfer.
Orion looks at it more from the perspective of information, transparency, and overall trends.
Zhen Tianzun was more direct. He was looking at how these things would ultimately affect the machines, which machines would be suppressed, and at what point someone would actually stand up.
The vector sat in the middle, occasionally interjecting to downplay some of the situations that were stuck at a crossroads, and also casually adding more practical information about the arena and the lower district.
The three people had slightly different ideas, but they were all heading in the same direction.
Moreover, the more they talked, the more they could tell that neither of them was completely clueless; at least their frontal lobes were fully developed, so they wouldn't start talking about their own things after just a few sentences.
During one of their conversations, Orion pushed a transcript of Megatron's public speeches to him and said, "Your recent speeches are more stable and powerful than before."
Zhen Tianzun looked up at him: "You can still tell the difference between before and after?"
"Yes," Orion answered naturally. "The former was sharper, and now there are more practical methods mixed in."
Yin Xiang, who was sitting next to him, couldn't help but turn his head to look at Zhen Tianzun when he heard this.
She could almost sense that he was secretly enjoying it, but on the surface he was still the same.
As expected, Zhen Tianzun only replied indifferently, "You have a deep understanding."
Orion smiled and said, "Because what you said wasn't simple to begin with."
Yin Vector sat in the middle, looking at the two guys. It was really nice; it wasn't an everyday occurrence to see them having such a good conversation.
