The rain was still falling, showing no signs of stopping.

The lightning in the sky seemed to sense something.
A bolt of lightning, as thick as a bucket, struck down from the clouds, hitting an ancient tree dozens of feet away from the cave entrance. The intense lightning illuminated the entire hillside, instantly splitting the ancient tree in two, igniting a raging fire that was quickly extinguished by the torrential rain.
That instant of lightning illuminated the world as if it were daytime.
Strands of lightning power were drawn from the falling lightning, like invisible threads, drifting towards the cave entrance and flowing into Yun'er's brow and divine eyes.
Yun'er's body trembled slightly. Deep within her consciousness, a previously dim rune on the Great Dao Heavenly Ruins Thunder Talisman suddenly lit up, radiating a dazzling light. The drawn-in thunder power began to surge into her from between her eyebrows, flowing along her meridians throughout her body, traversing and coursing within her.
As the lightning passed, her physique grew stronger and more resilient, and the lightning on her body became increasingly dazzling, gradually spreading from her body to form a protective shield. The shield was spherical, extending more than three feet outward from Yun'er's center. After the Thunder Pool takes form, the thunderous power from the outside world is drawn into it and refined into the purest thunder syrup, providing ample nutrients for the growth of the Chaos Thunder Tree.
Yun'er's body underwent a tremendous change, and astonishing phenomena also appeared on her body.
The lightning shield around her body rapidly expanded outwards, growing larger and larger. The tiny arcs of lightning that initially danced on the surface of the shield now transformed into terrifying bolts of lightning containing boundless killing intent.

Xuan'er stood beside her, her eyes occasionally glancing at the rain outside the cave, her ears constantly listening for every sound.

Suddenly, a sound seemed to come from deep within the cave.
The sound was extremely soft and faint, almost inaudible. If the cave hadn't been so quiet, no one would have noticed it at all.
