Eunid stood in front of the room, pacing back and forth.

He had been doing this for a while now. just then, a man wearing white robes but with a red cross on his chest stepped out of the room. red on the custom white of the holy church was the symbol of a cleric. He also had another insignia at one side of his chest, signifying the family he had come from.

"Cleric, is there any improvement?" Eunid ask with optimism on his face. However, the cleric shook his head. "She is still suffering from post traumatic stress disorder from what happened to her. I have tried a few prayers of heavenly healing from the god Kindness, but it seems to have no effect whatsoever on her."

"What do you mean?" Eunid asked.

"The god kindness is merciful in his reaching and lending out a hand, even PTSD is not above is power to heal. But that does not work. Every time I cast the blessing, his holy power is repelled."

"Repelled?" Eunid had a frown on his face.

The Cleric stepped closer, whispering into Eunid’s ears. "I have heard the rumors, young master Eunid. About this slave girl cultivator you seem to treasure so much. Your servants say she is cursed.
