Chapter 464: Technique: End World

For Chiron, his definition of Pride had to be selected carefully. The reason was because, the moment he took a form of pride, he would have to carry it along all through the middle realms.

Such was the way of the middle realms, at the same time, it was not going to get any easier.

Chiron had meditated on his version of pride for days without end.

There were of course a few options left to him.

Some were as follows: Pride in his ability to always win a fight. this was not a bad one, but if he were to ever fail, a circumstance that was inevitable on the path to power, he would be affected cultivation wise. It might even ruin his cultivation in the worse case scenario. After all, the goal of the Middle realms was to bring those that had advanced in power, back to their mortality.

Secondly, he could pick pride in his weapon, devil’s Touch, but if a day came when is sword was not with him, then he would become crippled for power.

Thirdly, he could pick pride in his slaves, but Chiron threw that idea out of the window the moment it came.

It was not that he did not want to trust them, but Chiron was not the trusting type, besides, who in their right mind would put their faith in a tool. Tools could always get rusted or broken and therefore would need to be replaced.

Fourthly, he could take pride in his plans and the fruition of it all. However, even for Chiron, plans have gone south many times, and he had to improvise on the spot.

And so Chiron had been left at a dilemma. For this reason, he had mediated for many days, calculating the things that had happened and how it affected him.

However, the past was a very mysterious place, giving enlightenment to anyone that was ready to learn from the best teacher in the world called Experience.

And then it hit Chiron in the head. Ever since he came to this world, they has only been one thing that he truly seek from the bottom of his heart.

In fact, if the Holy Church had been able to guaranty it, Chiron would have been shameless enough to join their ’Holy’ ways.

This was a good trump card.

The only draw back was that he would not be able to use that energy source for at least a month.

The second part of End world was even more brutal than the first. If Chiron executed the second layer of this technique, then he would lose that layer of cultivation that he had.

Meaning that if he used it now, he would lose his cultivation value for the Bronze rank, and he would drop back to the Copper realm.

This was the same thing regardless of the rank or realm. He would lose the achievement of that new rank altogether.

This included the achievement of the comprehension of that realm or rank.

It was indeed a very brutal technique to both the user and the victim.

Only a mad man would be willing to use such a double edged sword.

Then again, Chiron’s sanity was on a different realm altogether.

Now, Chiron could not practically use the skill because of the damage that it could cause. After all, he was a bronze rank warrior now. That was akin to him using the red core of a core beast as a bomb.

Nevertheless, the Fate change system was an incredible place, and instead, he made simulations of the technique in relation to his already available skills.

The most chaotic was of course, flame and blood. But even when he used it in on his swordsmanship, it granted him incredible speed and concentration in executing his enemies that it was very tempted to activate the technique now.

After all that was done, Chiron prepared to visit an old man. One that he needed to ask certain questions. Of course, it was none other than the dragon spirit that kept guard of the Blood dragon’s garden, deep beneath the Chikitsa kingdom.
