After moving Alfred to Harland and Gavin to Harland, Jay and Clift went to Brinwell city as planned, but after Bael's attack, the entrance to Brinwell was temporarily closed for further investigation. Therefore they rented a small hotel near the entrance of Brinwell City to wait until the gates of Brinwell City opened again.

"Hey, have you seen the news?" Clift's sudden question breaks Jay's concentration.

Jay's hands stop typing then retracts his gaze from the laptop screen.

"Which one, there's a lot of news lately" Jay replied indifferently.

"The incident in the entrance of Brinwell city" he took the tablet and then swiped up and the floating hologram screen showed the incident he talking about.

Jay rests his back on the chair lazily while watching the hologram. A few minutes later the video stop then Clift placed the tablet on the table, after that, he looked at Jay "What do you think?"

Jay sneers "It's a good show"

"It is..." Clift pulls the chair across from Jay, "That explains why they took such a high risk of harming our King because they knew we would be too busy saving Luc to notice what they were doing."

"We must admit, It was a good plan..." Jay said with a disdained sneer.

"It was..." Clift let out a frustrated sigh while rubbing his sore neck, after weeks of only two hours of sleep, tiredness finally caught up with him but he didn't have time to rest, he couldn't even if he wanted to.

"By the way, a technology company called Orsus is collaborating with Aeon to create a new weapon to kill The Bael" Clift gives preliminary information.

"The Bael?" Jay frown.

Clift waves his hand casually in the air "The new like-plant beast that appeared lately"

"Oh, they call that creature a scary creature that hunts children like in children's stories?" Jay was stunned after that he chuckled lightly "Lory would've said that's a good naming idea"

A faint smile spread across Clift's face "Luc would say it's a stupid name..."

"Yeah, she would say that..." Jay mutters quietly.

they both lost in their thought for a second then Clift the first to snap from his daze "The incident at the Brinwell seems to be the advertising for the new weapon and now many companies race to work with the Orsus"

"Who is the Orsus's owner?" Jay asked.

"Amanda Haynes, and this the kicker...she is Elena Reynolds's younger sister" Clift gives meaningful expression.

Jay's eyes lit up with deep interest "Aah...it's back to them again"

Clift's upper body leaned against the table, he crossed his arms on the table then his blue tosca eyes glinted with conviction, "My instincts tell me there is something really important hidden inside the Aeon, if we go there we might find valuable information what is it that had been hurt Luc all this time"

a wild, murderous intent flash across Jay's boyish face "Our all enemies gather in one place, how coincidence is that?"

"It's a good decision we came here after all" Clift's face was beaming with pleasurable anticipation.

"But we want help..."Owen plead.

Lory points her index finger at Owen, "And you will! but, everything must according to my plan" "So, what is the plan?" Lloyd ask.

Lory raised three fingers "I've got three plans, the first plan is the good - under control plan, the second one is a risky plan but applicable nonetheless, and the third plan..."

"The third plan?" Lydia gulped nervously.

Lory grin mischievously "The third plan is when all our plans turn to sh*t"

"Why I have a feeling it's happened a lot" Garrof sizes Lory's face suspiciously.

"I wouldn't lie it happened a lot~!" Lory laughed but God knew she wasn't joking.

Garrof chuckled, while Lloyd's shoulders shook with laughter. After everything they'd been through together, they wouldn't question his abilities now.

"So, what is the 'safe plan'?" Lloyd grinned in amusement.

Lory leaned comfortably against the fence wall while smiling confidently. "The first plan is, we have to look for Elena Reynold, find out where she lives, her schedule, and how much security she has"

"Understand!" Lloyd nodded in agreement.

"And someone has to keep an eye on the Aeon building, find out who can enter this place, janitors, maintenance staff, whatever, and don't forget to check for possible exits" Lory's voice was calm and steady as she conveyed her plan.

Garrof pinched his skin while muttering, "That would require building blueprints but that's impossible..."

"It's not complete but we might be able to find something from the building maintenance staff" Lloyd added.

"Do the best you can" Lory believes in Lloyd and Garrof's ability.

"Owen you will come with me, Dan you go with Lloyd!" Garrof divide them.

Lydia suddenly felt left out, she raised her hands "What..what about me, can I help?" she was never involved in this type of situation before so she wasn't sure how she could help but she didn't want to be the only one who didn't do anything.

Lory ponders for a second then points at Lydia, "You came with me!"

Lydia beamed with excitement "Yes!" she felt flattered lory asked her to come with her.

Lory clapped her hands "Okay since everyone will have their task, my first plan is to persuade Elena Reynolds to work with us!"

"What if she doesn't want to?" Owen asked.

"Then we go to the second plan which is intimidation" Lory meaningfully said.

Garrof and Lloyd give a knowing smirk while Lydia and the other stare blankly at Lory.

"What about the third plan?" Dan asked.

Lory makes a dramatic hand gesture in the air and smirks: "Ka-Boom!"
